 Water based, acrylic, is conversion primer from synthetic based paint to water based paint can be applied over old the surface where was painted with a solvent based paint. It is used on the water based satin paint applications.

SURFACE PREPARATION

The application surfaces should be cleaned from the dirt, oil, dust and all loosen structured swollen layers, the faults on the surface should be removed. 

 

APPLICATION

When needed twice could be applied. Second coat application must be made after 6 hours if old surface paint is water based or after 24 hours if old surface paint is solvent based. Preparation of surface, using sandpaper number 80 teeth should be opened on old painted synthetic surfaces.

 

SPREADING RATE

Single layer about 10 m2/L

 

REDUCTION

10 % water may be added

 

DRYING TIMES (SINGLE COAT, STANDARD THICKNESS)

Touch Dry At the 20 °C, 6 hours

Recoat 4 hours

This is dependent upon temperature and humidity. 

 

CLEANING UP

Clean up with soap and water. After cleaning up be sure to flush spray equipment with solvent to prevent rusting following manufacturer’s instructions. Dispose of buckets should be in accordance with local authority guidelines.

  

PRECAUTIONS / WARNINGS

Keep out of reach of children. Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. If the product comes in contact with the eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water. To remove splashes from skin, use soap and water or a recognized skin cleaner. Do not take internally.

 

STORAGE

The product should be kept in a dry place. Lid should be closed   tight when not in use. Not to be exposed to direct sunlight. Stock life is 1 year in original container. Protect from freezing.
