Styrene acrylic copolymer based, mat exterior paint with silicone additive. Applied to the construction elements such as plaster concrete, gypsum, limestone, etc…

Volume Solids 70 ± 2 %

Specific Gravity 1.6 ± 0.05 gr/ml

 

SURFACE PREPARATION

The application surfaces should be cleaned from the dirt, oil, dust and all loosen structured swollen layers, the faults on the surface should be removed. 

 

APPLICATION

After Southwind Silicon Based Primer is applied to the ready surface, Southwind Silicon Based Exterior Paint should be applied in two layers. 2 hours should be allowed between the layers. It is applied easily by fell roll or a brush by thinned with the 25-30% water depending on the application surface. It is recommended that it shall be applied between +5°C and 30°C

 

SPREADING RATE

400-500 gr/m2 or 250-350 ml/m2 for double layer depending on the surface situation.

 

REDUCTION

25-30 % water may be added depending on the surface condition

 

DRYING TIMES (SINGLE COAT, STANDARD THICKNESS)

Touch Dry      30 minutes

Recoating      4 hours       

   The above values depend upon temperature and humidity

 

CLEANING UP

Clean up with soap and water. After cleaning up be sure to flush spray equipment with solvent to prevent rusting following manufacturer’s instructions. Dispose of buckets should be in accordance with local authority guidelines.

                                  

PRECAUTIONS / WARNINGS

Keep out of reach of children. Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. If the product comes in contact with the eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water. To remove splashes from skin, use soap and water or a recognized skin cleaner. Do not take internally.

 

STORAGE

 The product should be kept in a dry place. Lid should be closed   tight when not in use. Not to be exposed to direct sunlight. Stock life is 1 year in original container. Protect from freezing.
