PRODUCT DESCRIPTION & USE

Granite and ceramic color ready plaster. Even though it is generally known as sand plaster or mineral plaster in Turkey, it is known as the plastic wall coating abroad because of its chemical content. It is a decorative facade coating material, prepared by mixing with acrylic bindings and qualified additives by grinding the granite marble stone to the granule state.

Applied to all surfaces of the construction elements such all fine plasters, smoothly processed coarse plaster, concrete, etc.

SURFACE PREPARATION

The application surfaces should be cleaned from the dirt, oil, dust and all loosen structured swollen layers, the faults on the surface should be removed. 

 

APPLICATION

After Southwind Acrylic Exterior Primer is applied to the ready surface, Southwind Mineral Plaster is applied and smoothened with a steel spatula so as being in the equal matrix with the wall.

 

SPREADING RATE

5-5.5 kg/m2 of fine mineral plaster depending on the surface     situation or 7-7.5 kg/m2 of thick mineral plaster.

 

REDUCTION

Do not reduce this product

 

DRYING TIMES (SINGLE COAT, STANDARD THICKNESS)

Touch Dry At 20 °C, 6-8 hours

Recoat 4 hours

This is dependent upon temperature and humidity. 

 

CLEANING UP

Clean up with soap and water. After cleaning up be sure to flush spray equipment with solvent to prevent rusting following manufacturer’s instructions. Dispose of buckets should be in accordance with local authority guidelines.

 

PRECAUTIONS / WARNINGS

Keep out of reach of children. Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. If the product comes in contact with the eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water. To remove splashes from skin, use soap and water or a recognized skin cleaner. Do not take internally.

 

STORAGE

 The product should be kept in a dry place. Lid should be closed   tight when not in use. Not to be exposed to direct sunlight. Stock life is 1 year in original container. Protect from freezing.
