PRODUCT DESCRIPTION & USE

Southwind Synthetic alkyd resin based transparent, decorative wood protective. This product is a decorative wood protective to you can use safely on the Old or new, internal and external environment surface. Wooden houses, windows, balconies, external and internal doors, wooden fence posts, the basement of the wood, wood ceilings, paneling, columns and beams, furniture and similar elements will be used on wooden surfaces. Beehives and wood surfaces of the sauna and food materials are hosted on the wood should not be used.

SURFACE PREPARATION

The application surfaces should be cleaned from the dirt, oil, dust, old varnish and all loosen structured swollen layers, the faults on the surface should be removed. 

 

APPLICATION

Before application resins and natural oils on the hard wooden surface should be cleaned with a cloth soaked in organic solvents such as cellulose thinners. Two or three times at intervals of 24 hours is applied. Thoroughly mix before application. This process must be repeated from time to time during application. To obtain a homogeneous color, application must be made to going in the direction of the pores in the wood. Ready to use and does not require any thinning.

 

SPREADING RATE

As depending on the type and absorbency of the wood on single layer, average 10-12 m2/Lt area can be painted (30 micron dry film thickness).

DRYING TIMES (SINGLE COAT, STANDARD THICKNESS)

Complete dry time is about 24 hours

  

CLEANING UP

Clean up with soap and water. After cleaning up be sure to flush spray equipment with solvent to prevent rusting following manufacturer’s instructions. Dispose of can in accordance with local authority guidelines.

 

PRECAUTIONS / WARNINGS

Keep out of reach of children. Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. If the product comes in contact with the eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water. To remove splashes from skin, use soap and water or a recognized skin cleaner. Do not take internally. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Dispose of contents to a waste disposal facility in accordance with local/national regulations. Safety data sheet available on request.

 

STORAGE

The product should be kept in a dry place. Lid should be closed   tight when not in use. Not to be exposed to direct sunlight. Stock life is 1 year in original container. Protect from freezing.
